Knowing Yogyakarta Indonesia

Most Filipino travelers would go to nearby countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Macau (Visa free country) but very few would go to Indonesia. Most Filipinos would only know Bali and Jakarta but little did we know that Indonesia has so much to offer for all types of travelers.
In July 2016, I got invited by the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia together with 50+ other South East Asian bloggers and influencers to travel around Indonesia for 12 days. I extended my trip to Jakarta for 3 days and was not able to do so much because of the traffic jam. Few from our batch went to Yogyakarta and seeing their amazing photos made me want and eager to go back to Indonesia and visit Yogyakarta.
Luckily Last January 2018, I was able to go back in Indonesia, had a 4-day trip to Jakarta with AirAsia and finally extended my trip for another 4 days just to see the wonders of Yogyakarta. I always wanted to visit temples and palaces in this region and finally, I did. Let me share you where we s…

I also love their Meringue with fresh sweet mangoes on top and I suggest don't miss to try the Creme Brulee. I was starving that day and I immediately had dessert instead of a soup or bread, lol.

Don't miss their Seafood Station. Fresh oysters, mussels, crabs and king prawns are all waiting for you Seafood Lovers. I had 3 king…

White Result Products to whiten your skin

How to Protect Your Skin This Summer
Summertime is here and people are sure to celebrate through beach trips, swimming parties, extreme sports, and many more. But did you know that just like this variety in summer activities, we all have different skin types, and that they can also change with the weather? This is why you need to take extra care to make sure you’ll maintain a radiant, healthy, and glowing skin all year round!
Oily skin tends to have large pores, and blemishes such as pimples or blackheads. Oiliness can be caused by puberty, other hormonal imbalances, or stress. It becomes worse during summertime due to exposure to heat and humidity. To take care of oily skin, avoid over-washing you face. Cleansing twice a day is advisable. Use a gentle cleanser to prevent irritating your skin as abrasive scrubs can open the pores and further expose them to more pollutants in the environment.
Normal skin has a good balance of moisture, small pores, and an even tone. This …

Sweet Indulgence by: YM

Sweet Indulgence by: YM. Yoly Reyes is behind this local and home made sweets. She studied Culinary and focused on baking pastries. She's an Entrepreneur and has various businesses such as Computer Rental Shops and Laundry Shop but her passion is in baking and making great pastry desserts.

So these are some of her freshly baked sweets.

What I love about these brownies is that it's not too sweet and enough nuts on it. I also bake and what I may suggest is to mix some coffee on her ingredients to enhance more the chocolate flavor.

Soft chocolate Brownies with nuts are available per dozen for 260.00 php.

One of the best Red Velvet cakes I've tasted. Available for 450.00 php per dozen (icing) and 550.00 php per dozen (fondant).

Classic Cheesecake with Strawberry sauce.

The following day when I got these treats, I went to an event and I let 2 of my blogger friends tasted this Cheesecake and their reaction was, it's a winner! So cheesy and delectable cheesecake they had.

Celebrating Mother's Day in Cafe Cubana

We celebrated Mother's Day last May 10 in Cafe Cubana. This restaurant is located inside BF Homes, along the stretch of Aguirre. We had a hard time looking for a place to eat that night and luckily Cafe Cubana is not yet full packed and it's neighbor restaurant (Las Paellas) can serve meals in the cafe.

I ordered Nachos for our appetizer. This Nachos is one the best sellers in Cafe Cubana. Love the fresh and home made salsa.

Sizzling Bulalo. I missed eating this "Putok-batok" meal. First time to eat this, when I was in Cebu 2 years ago.

Sizzling Chorizo. For a change from the typical Sizzling Pork. :)

One of the all-time Filipino favorite meal, Kare-Kare.

Fish Fillet with Mango Sauce. I love the mix of carrots with the sweet mangoes. A must try meal in Las Paellas.

The best and my fave fruit shake, Watermelon.

A simple celebration for me and my Mama this Mother's Day with Papa, my younger sis, my baby Chichi, niece and Manang.

Happy Mother's Day to all Mo…
