Dinner Feast at The Nest - Vivere Hotel Alabang

The Nest at Vivere Alabang is now in its 2nd year and bringing you Filipino comfort food. The restaurant is located on the 31st floor of the lavish 5-star hotel, Vivere Hotel in Alabang Muntinlupa. They have an outside area for smokers and who just want to view the Alabang skyline. The Nest has a spacious dining space and a private room that can accommodate 30 to 50 pax, good for private meetings and seminars.

The restaurant offers Filipino comfort food and some fusion dishes to cater to foreign tourists who are in the area and those who checked in at the Vivere Hotel.

Grill Platter (1,3320 php), Filipinos love all kinds of food to be grilled. Fish, Squid or anything seafood, Pork and Chicken. I like all dishes on this platter especially the chicken and fish which is really tasty and it doesn't need any soy sauce for dipping.

Pork Binagoongan (730 php), Crispy pork with Okra, Tomatoes, Sour Mango and Bagoong (fermented small fish or shrimp). As a person who doesn't eat Bagoong, I was able to eat a little of this dish and surprisingly, it's not fishy at all and I didn't smell the pungent, foul smell of the Bagoong.

Crispy Catfish Salad (505 php), a delightful green mango salad topped with crispy fried flaked catfish meat, onions, peanuts and cilantro leaves. I love catfish and my only concern on this dish is that, it has small portions of catfish meat but, the overall taste is good!

Greek Goddess Salad (400 php), with caramelized walnuts and shaved fresh Parmesan cheese on mixed salad greens with Arugula, tossed in Strawberry vinaigrette, and served with slices of grilled chicken.

Chorizo and Shrimp Pasta with red sauce (495 php). I'm a big fan of pasta, topped with red or white cream sauce, mixed with shrimp, pork or beef meat or even tuna is all good for me. I didn't taste the chorizo on this dish, however the shrimp is really tasty and not fishy at all.

Bistecca with mixed green salad (1,910 php). A 400 gram imported boneless slab of ribeye steak Served with your choice of sauce, Creamy mushroom and peppercorn Demiglace Sauceor Gongonzola Sauce. Ribeye steak is cooked to perfection (medium rare).

Bacon Coffee Salted Caramel with Choco fudge brownies. This is a heavenly desert with a twist of bacon mixed in the coffee ice cream.

Mango Creme Brulee (300 php). How can you go wrong with this sweet mango with cream and roasted sugar on top? This is a must try desert!

Cocktail mix's are also available here and they have a promo every Wednesday.

If you want to have a special dinner with your partner or just to have lunch and dinner with your friends and family, come and visit The Nest at Vivere Hotel Alabang to experience their great food and chic ambiance.

  3. How much do I need to shell out so I can dine in this place? You see, restaurants are mushrooming all over town and sometimes we need to find a place that's consumer friendly. What I mean by being consumer friendly is that they offer prices that are within reach by us - ordinary citizens.

  6. Another great food find at the South. That Grilled Platter looks super yummy. Although it looks pricey since it's at a hotel.
