Knowing Yogyakarta Indonesia

Most Filipino travelers would go to nearby countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Macau (Visa free country) but very few would go to Indonesia. Most Filipinos would only know Bali and Jakarta but little did we know that Indonesia has so much to offer for all types of travelers.
In July 2016, I got invited by the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia together with 50+ other South East Asian bloggers and influencers to travel around Indonesia for 12 days. I extended my trip to Jakarta for 3 days and was not able to do so much because of the traffic jam. Few from our batch went to Yogyakarta and seeing their amazing photos made me want and eager to go back to Indonesia and visit Yogyakarta.
Luckily Last January 2018, I was able to go back in Indonesia, had a 4-day trip to Jakarta with AirAsia and finally extended my trip for another 4 days just to see the wonders of Yogyakarta. I always wanted to visit temples and palaces in this region and finally, I did. Let me share you where we s…

The Beauty of Bohol

We went to Tagbilaran Bohol back in 2013, before it was hit by an earthquake where it damages most structures and even century old church. Bohol is located in Visayas Region, Philippines. About 1.5 hours travel by plane from Manila Airport and the most popular tourist attractions here are: Chocolate Hills, Tarsier and River Cruise.

During Summer, the hills are brown and on Rainy season, it's all green. We were here in late summer so most of the hills were half brown - half green.
Chocolate Hills is protected by UNESCO.

White-powdery sand here at Virgin Island. My kid was so happy and even me to see such plenty of starfish on the island.

On our 2nd day in Bohol, early morning we did Dolphine Watching on the ocean, not in a secluded park. We were like 12 or 15 motor boats chasing these cutesy creatures in the ocean. I'd say this is the best part of our stay here in Bohol.

River Tour and lunch.

Philippine Tarsier - the smallest monkey in the world. They are about a size of your palm, that's how small these little primates.

Every travel will not be complete if you don't go to an old church.
Baclayon Church.

Bohol is such a beautiful place. Friendly and nice people will welcome you.

  15. I miss Bohol!!! We went there last 2014 and was quite sad that the churches were already ruined by the earthquake and the huge snake was already dead when we visited :( The Virgin island is no longer called that way as it was already bought and made into an island with displays of the Mysteries of the Rosary. Love the beaches especially the super long shores of Dumaluan Beach :)

Beach-Lovin: La Thalia Beach Resort

It's Summer time now! And the best place to treat yourself from our hectic work by going to the beach - a quiet place, far from the hustling and bustling city,  and just have a total relaxation at the ocean. It's been a while since I had a visit to the beach and I had such a great time spending my 2 days at the La Thalia Beach Resort in Bauan Batangas. Batangas is a 2-hour drive from Manila and Bauan Batangas has white beach sand. La Thalia is a half hectare property that has a great beach front andrelaxing rooms - couple room & barkada room/family room, Pavillion that can accommodate 100 pax, restaurant, basketball court, table tennis, and water sports such as Jetski, Paddle Boat, Kayak and they also offer island tour where you and your group can have fish feeding and snorkeling at the same time.
