Knowing Yogyakarta Indonesia

Most Filipino travelers would go to nearby countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Macau (Visa free country) but very few would go to Indonesia. Most Filipinos would only know Bali and Jakarta but little did we know that Indonesia has so much to offer for all types of travelers.
In July 2016, I got invited by the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia together with 50+ other South East Asian bloggers and influencers to travel around Indonesia for 12 days. I extended my trip to Jakarta for 3 days and was not able to do so much because of the traffic jam. Few from our batch went to Yogyakarta and seeing their amazing photos made me want and eager to go back to Indonesia and visit Yogyakarta.
Luckily Last January 2018, I was able to go back in Indonesia, had a 4-day trip to Jakarta with AirAsia and finally extended my trip for another 4 days just to see the wonders of Yogyakarta. I always wanted to visit temples and palaces in this region and finally, I did. Let me share you where we s…

Hotel Review: Crown Regency Hotel Makati

When I was in Boracay back in 2012 (I think), we were offered to be a member of Crown Regency Hotel, after listening to a one-on-one talk to their sales personnel we were convinced to be a member and we paid a reservation fee of 10,000 PHP/ 200 USD and will pay the remaining 400,000 PHP /  8,000 USD via cheque and payable for 3 years I think or 2, I honestly couldn't remember now.

At first, we thought it was a good deal if we will be a member of Crown Regency, we get to have 10 hotel vouchers and can be used with their hotel partners also abroad. But after a few weeks when we were back here in Manila we feel like we will be wasting our 400,000 pesos just to be a member of a hotel? We could use that big amount of money in buying a property or something else. So we ended up wasting our 10,000 pesos reservation that the person we talked to wouldn't allow us to refund it. With all these hassles and unfortunate events I think the hotel is still a nice one and maybe it wasn't really for us to be a member/shareholder of this hotel.

Crown Regency Hotel Makati is located in Aranaiz and just few walk away from Dusit Hotel, EDSA, SM Makati, Greenbelt and few good restaurants in the area. Hotel room is nice and clean with large bed, clean White sheets and a sink, microwave, en suite bathroom with hot and cold shower but the room size is a bit small for their biggest room type. Room Prices starts from 4,000 PHP to 6,500 PHP per night with free buffet breakfast in their in-house cafe/restaurant.

It's good that every floor at the hotel there is a common sitting area right in front of the lift.

I find this hotel old and needs to be renovated especially its interiors and designs especially. It's so outdated and floor tiles needs to be carpeted to look more hotel interiors.  I feel like their room prices is way too much for the kind of room size and look of the hotel. This may be a good alternative for stay especially for businessman who needs a place to sleep when they have a conference in Makati area.

Be a Professional Blogger and Level Up Your Chance on Getting Paid By Clients

I started getting serious about blogging back in 2014. At first, all I know is we can get money from Google Ads and not from clients and attending events. Years past, I was able to write hundreds of blog articles, and I have attended many media trip, famtrip and international trip like in Indonesia and Israel where I got invited both by the Tourism Department.

Beach-Lovin: La Thalia Beach Resort

It's Summer time now! And the best place to treat yourself from our hectic work by going to the beach - a quiet place, far from the hustling and bustling city,  and just have a total relaxation at the ocean. It's been a while since I had a visit to the beach and I had such a great time spending my 2 days at the La Thalia Beach Resort in Bauan Batangas. Batangas is a 2-hour drive from Manila and Bauan Batangas has white beach sand. La Thalia is a half hectare property that has a great beach front andrelaxing rooms - couple room & barkada room/family room, Pavillion that can accommodate 100 pax, restaurant, basketball court, table tennis, and water sports such as Jetski, Paddle Boat, Kayak and they also offer island tour where you and your group can have fish feeding and snorkeling at the same time.
